How to Advertise Your Site
Marketing your website is how you will generate more traffic and sales -- which will earn you a higher commission check every month.
One of the most important parts of owning a business is your advertising (after all, as a Sympathy Solutions Affiliate, you are now a business owner). Advertising is one of the most effective ways to get people who don't already know you to visit your website.
Marketing your website online is actually quite affordable. You can gain several hundred visitors to your site for just a few dollars a day. There are many options for online advertising available -- from Google Adwords, to Yahoo Search Marketing, to other services such as AdBrite, and much much more.
Here are a few suggestions and resources which may help you succeed
as a member of the Sympathy Solutions Affiliate Program:
1. Here are 3 ways to improve your website's effectiveness.
2. Display your affiliate link in your site's navigation, and name it "Sympathy Gifts". This way, everyone coming to your site, who is looking for sympathy gifts will click on your affiliate link before browsing our online catalogs.
3. Place an ad for your website in newsletters and classifieds (online or offline -- such as local Penny Saver, or Senior Citizen publications, Craigslist, etc.), where you can highlight our products and display your website address or affiliate link for people to use.
4. Advertise your site on Google, Yahoo, MSN or Ask. This is very cost-effective and quite beneficial. It is possible to get a LOT of traffic to your site, for only a dollar a day. Google's Content Network Ads can also be a great source of traffic. (We have some affiliates who get hundreds of visitors a day at as low as 1 cent per visitor!)
5. Create webpages and profiles at some free web hosting sites like Geocities, MySpace and others, then put our banners and post your affiliate links on them.
6. If you're already active on MySpace, Gather, or another social network, recommend our site to your friends, and include your affiliate link for "Sympathy Gifts" on your profile page & blog there.
7. Join groups (or create your own) for people dealing with grief and loss on Yahoo Groups, Google Groups, AOL Groups, or on MySpace, Facebook, or the dozens of other social networks out there, and include your affiliate link in your signature file whenever you post.
8. There are plenty of other ways to promote your affiliate links, and get more and more sales -- and bigger commission checks! These ideas are only a starting point... Be creative!
