Hummingbird Candleholder

The Carruth Collection introduces an intricately detailed hummingbird candleholder with a warm sentiment that reads:

Joy for your spirit. Peace for your soul. Love for your heart.
 

As a sculptor at American Greetings, George Carruth was not satisfied simply sculpting licensed characters, so he branched out and began to carve his own images onto rough stones and sandstone from local rock quarries. Inspired by everyday surroundings, this experimentation led to a new career path as an independent artist. Each sculpture has its own story taking place.
